Fox 13 Memphis aired this feature news story about my decision to fight cancer with nutrition and natural therapies. I was a bit apprehensive about how it would turn out... But it was really great! If you have a child diagnosed with cancer the government can force you to subject your child to chemotherapy and radiation treatments. And if you don't comply, Child Protective Services can take your child away. Hard to believe, but it's true. Cut Poison Burn is a very powerful documentary about the Cancer Industry and the Navarro family's fight with the government to get the cancer treatment of their choice for their little boy. I watched an advance screening of this film and met the producer at the Cancer Control Convention in LA, Labor Day weekend 2011. Every American should watch this film.

In 2004 I was resarching alternative cancer therapies and heard about Dr. Stanley Burzynski in Houston, Texas. I was told that he had developed a non-toxic "alternative" therapy that was more effective than chemo or radiation on even the most aggressive cancers.  So yeah, he was on my short list of doctors to see if I my natural approach didn't work. "Burzynski The Movie: Cancer Is Serious Business" documents the amazing cancer treatment discovered by Dr. Burzynski called Antineoplastons and how the FDA and the National Cancer Institute tried to shut down his clinic, prove his therapy didn't work, and put him in jail while the U.S. Government tried to steal his patent. Really! Micah and I just watched this and it is so freaking awesome I almost exploded.

Ok so after several requests I decided to shoot a quick video on the raw vegan coconut fruit smoothie I drank everyday as part of my anti-cancer diet.
